Albatross Brewing Company

This is a blog to chronicle what's going on in my home brewery. I've been crafting beers for 2 years now and I want this to be a fun site letting friends and family know what's going on at the brewery. An Albatross is a bird and another term for a double eagle in golf, so that's where the name came from. A lot of the beer names are golf inspired. It will also be a place to rant about sports, politics, and anything else that spews out of my mouth (or keyboard).

What to Brew for the Open Championship?

The 2009 Open Championship will be held July 16-19 at The Alisa Course at Turnberry in Britain. I'm going to be brewing a beer for the tournament sometime in the next week and I'm looking for suggestions on style and name.

I'm obviously going to be brewing an English style beer. Suggestions?
